City Loop is a competition winning design for a fitness, play, and leisure landscape in City Park, Denver’s largest urban park. The project promotes play as a critical component of public health. A continuous path around the perimeter of the site guides visitors through undulating mounds, artificial rain, giant tunnels, clouds of mist, net towers, supersized swings, and lush plantings. Within this landscape, a series of tube structures bend, fold, inflate, and twist into spiraling forms that encourage inventive play. Designed in collaboration with PORT Urbanism.
