This proposal for the City County Building Plaza in Indianapolis replaces the existing planters with an assortment of benches, platforms, and balloon lights. The entire plaza is made of a single material, a light blue terrazzo. Activities and events are distributed throughout, so that the plaza is at different times a street, a park, and a quiet blue landscape. Designed with Paul Preissner Architects.
