The Biennial of the Americas 2013 exhibition Draft Urbanism created large scale art works, architecture projects, and performances in Denver. Four urban installations proposed prototypes to address typical development problems—sketch versions of untested design strategies and building types that were constructed in various downtown locations. The installations were Mine Pavilion, by Pezo von Ellrichshausen; The Hotel Rehearsal, by Alex Schweder; Skyline Cloud, by plan:b arquitectos; and Mirror Stages, by June 14.

Draft Urbanism also examined the relationship between brewery culture and the social, material, and historical fabric of the city. Curated by Paul Andersen, Carson Chan, and Gaspar Libedinsky.
