About
ProfileContact
The envelope of this house is a galvanized steel shell made of panels from a mass produced barn kit. By assembling the panels in a different order than usual, a tall A-frame form replaces the typical barn profile. A second shell lines the interior. The gap between the shells houses insulation, plumbing, electrical wiring, mechanical equipment, and storage space. A 27' tall living room occupies the front of the house, with a kitchen and bathrooms in the center of the plan and two floors of bedrooms at the back.
